I iterate marks and intuitive figures with paint over an atmospheric colored ground with the intent to imitate organic synthesis and directional movement. The fractal marks in my paintings often resemble an organic pattern of irregular shapes that could fit neatly together like puzzle pieces. In painting process my goal is simply to let an energized network of syncopated marks and staggered synapses grow until it dominates the image surface.
